AFNCI Achievements for 57357: Giving Hope this Ramadan

With the arrival of the Holy Month of Ramadan 2026, and the spread of its fragrant breezes that fill hearts with mercy and giving, the Association of Friends of the National Cancer-free Initiative (AFNCI) extends its warmest congratulations and most sincere wishes to all our charity partners and donors. May God return these blessed days to you and your families with prosperity, blessings, and abundant grace.

Every Ramadan, we take a moment to review the milestones achieved over the past year—made possible by the grace of God and your generous support. We also look forward to the ambitious steps ahead toward a brighter future for our children fighting cancer at Hospital 57357.

Tangible Achievements Through Your Donations and Partnerships

Since last Ramadan, the Association has witnessed significant progress in supporting the expansion and development of the hospital. Our latest milestones include:

  • Opening of the Upgraded Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Unit In February 2026, the upgraded BMT unit was inaugurated under the slogan “Together, We Plant New Hope.” This expansion doubles the recovery chances for critical and relapsed cases, opening doors of hope for more children in need of this life-saving treatment.
  • Emergency Department Expansion Last year, the Association contributed to the expansion of the Emergency Department. It has officially opened and is now serving children with higher efficiency and capacity.

Development of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Currently, the Association is focusing its efforts on developing the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), which serves the most critical and complex cases among the children of 57357. This project includes:

  • A comprehensive renovation and an increase in the number of beds equipped with the latest medical technology.
  • A rigorous focus on reducing infection risks.
  • Improving the quality of comprehensive care to ensure the highest recovery rates—all supported by your donations.

The Role of Donor Affairs and Blood Donation Campaigns

Furthermore, the Donor Affairs Department continues its vital role by coordinating blood donation drives. Throughout 2025, the Association organized dozens of campaigns with partners from factories, agencies, and corporations. Thousands of donors contributed to providing safe blood for the children of 57357 and oncology patients, saving many lives during times of urgent need.

Ramadan 2026 Message: Doubling Our Giving

Ramadan 2026 is a golden opportunity to double our giving, to participate together in writing new stories of recovery, and to plant smiles on the faces of the brave children of 57357.

Wishing you a blessed year. May Ramadan bring mercy, forgiveness, and great rewards to you and your families.
