We are working on the expansion project of the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Unit. Bone marrow transplant is not a surgical procedure; it is a treatment protocol that relies on administering intensive doses of chemotherapy with the aim of killing cancer cells throughout the body and eliminating the remaining blood-producing cells in the bone marrow, followed by transplanting stem cells.
