As a continuation of its charitable work with Hospital 57357, Amazon Egypt launched another blood donation drive for our child patients. Many company employees took part in the drive, which was coordinated with the Blood Donors Affairs Department of the AFNCI and took place at Amazon’s New Cairo office.

This drive is an extension of the company’s ongoing initiatives to support 57357 children. Mr. Omar Al-Sahy, General Manager of Amazon Egypt, previously visited the hospital in September 2023, accompanied by a large delegation of company employees. He presented a generous donation as a continuous charity to support the development of the hospital’s emergency department. Additionally, in the past year, 2024, the company conducted its first blood donation drive for our children.

In a new humanitarian initiative this year, alongside the blood donation drive, a delegation of Amazon Egypt employees visited Hospital 57357. They met the children and gave them symbolic gifts, bringing joy to their hearts and expressing their solidarity with the little ones on their journey of cancer treatment. This humanitarian gesture truly showcased the spirit of giving and volunteering.

It’s worth noting that Amazon Egypt was one of the first entities to support the expansion project of Hospital 57357’s emergency department. This stems from their belief in the importance of enhancing healthcare infrastructure and providing a comprehensive therapeutic environment for children.
