AFNCI’s blood donors’ affairs department exert utmost efforts to make available safe free blood for cancer patients throughout the year.

During 2019, 300 blood donation campaigns were organized, to offer 8,000 bags of blood and plasma for cancer patients, for a cost of four and half million pounds.  The blood donations go to the following destinations: National Cancer Institute, NCI, Cairo University hospitals, the Egyptian Red Crescent and Hospital 57357.

In addition, a team from the blood donors’ affairs department organizes awareness lectures to spread awareness about the importance of donating blood.
