{"id":20421,"date":"2021-01-04T11:27:09","date_gmt":"2021-01-04T11:27:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.afnci.org.eg\/?p=20421"},"modified":"2021-01-04T11:27:10","modified_gmt":"2021-01-04T11:27:10","slug":"thank-you-from-afnci-to-all-our-charity-partners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.afnci.org.eg\/?p=20421","title":{"rendered":"\u201cThank you\u201d from AFNCI to all our charity partners"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>With your support we are able to cross\nall crisis and pursue our efforts to support cancer patients in the New Year<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last year with all\nof its exceptional circumstances is finally over\nand with the advent of\n2021, we look forward to be able &nbsp;to\npursue our goals of protecting Egyptians\u2019\nhealth and providing more support for\nchildren and adult cancer patients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout\nthe last year we faced many challenges as a result of the Corona crisis that\naffected the whole world and caused a sharp decline\nin donations. Nonetheless, thanks to the continuing\nsupport of our charity partners, we were able to\nstill deliver our services to cancer patients at\nthe National Cancer Institute, NCI, and Hospital 57357. AFNCI administration expresses its sincere gratitude to\nall its supporters who enabled the\noffering of quality care to cancer patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the elapsed year we pursued the\nprovision of our support in different areas:\nthe provision of chemotherapy for NCI to cancer patients, &nbsp;blood donation\ncampaigns in favor of patients in the NCI, Hospital 57357, Cairo Universities\u2019\nhospitals and the Egyptian Red Crescent, to collect\nsafe blood for cancer patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hospital 57357 is AFNCI\u2019s biggest\nprojects as it established and equipped it and it continues supporting it through different activities including its\nexpansion schemes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AFNCI\u2019s\nsupport included the following :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Provision of\nsanitation and sterilization products since the beginning of the Corona crisis.<\/li><li>Establishing the treatment\nbuilding A, which consist of 11 floors, to increase the Hospital\u2019s capacity and\nenable hosting more children. The building includes\n30 in-patient rooms with\n40 beds<\/li><li>&nbsp;Up-\ngrading and equipping 57357\u2019s pathology lab and adding new labs to the department one of which is the first of its type in Egypt\nand the Middle East, to contribute to more accuracy in diagnosis. <\/li><li>&nbsp;Funding\n15 devices to measure 57357\u2019s children\u2019s vital functions<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2020, the\nAssociation celebrated the opening of a water purification station in Deshna\nCenter, Qena Governorate, to serve a population of 65,000, for the cost of 20 million\npounds.
