Today,\nsix years have elapsed since the\nopening of the\nnew out-patient clinics at the\nNCI. AFNCI built and completely equipped the clinics and offered them to the\nNCI, to alleviate the congestion of patients in\nthe Institute\u2019s main building and to\noffer a decent\nservice that cancer patients deserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is noteworthy that building the clinics\nstarted on 2012, and the construction and equipping were completed by the end of May 2014. The\nclinics serve 1600 patients daily through 43 checkup, surgery and radiotherapy\nclinics, in addition to pharmacies and labs. Today, after 6 years of operation, the Association is still\nsupporting the clinics by taking on the responsibility of maintaining and cleaning the clinics in\naddition to the salaries of the clinics\u2019 workers in the different\ndepartments. The Association is also contributing to offering\nneeded medical equipment to sustain and maintain their provision of quality\nservices to cancer patients, increasing their chances of\novercoming the disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
