AFNCI multiplies efforts in support of cancer patients at the National Cancer Institute, NCI and Hospital 57357: The provision of 15 devices for measuring children’s vital functions

AFNCI pursues its efforts in supporting cancer patients at the NCI during the corona crises . In addition to assigning the cleaning of the NCI’s out-patient clinics, that serve more than 1400 patients daily, to a specialized cleaning company, the Association sterilizes the clinics on a daily basis for more protection of patients.

It is noteworthy that the Association sponsored the establishment of the NCI’s out-patient clinics and equipped them to resolve the problem of congestion in the main NCI building and offer patients the best care level aiming to contribute to raising survival rates.

On another front, the Association is providing a big portion of sterilization materials to Hospital 57357 to offer more protection for children and staff. In pursuit of its support for 57357’s expansion, the Association offered 15 devices for measuring vital functions of children. The devices are supplied to 57357’s extension located on the second floor of the Pediatric Medicine Association’s building which includes 24 care units for 57357’s children. The Association is also taking over the cost of the kitchen of the treatment building A that the Association previously granted to the Hospital. The treatment building A includes 40 in-patient beds, to be added to the capacity of the Hospital.

With your support we shall pursue giving, despite the crisis, to contribute to raising the level of healthcare provided to adult and children cancer patients.
